Sequential Reaction Taking a Break Until Sept. 12

UPDATE (7/18/16): Development of my new History of the American Comic Book class has required more time than originally anticipated. Instead of dribbling out reviews as I can, I’ve decided to stockpile content to help stay on schedule when Sequential Reaction returns this fall. Look for new reviews to return Sept. 12, 2016. Thanks for your patience! – TAW

The bad news: A busier-than-usual time at work has thrown Sequential Reaction off schedule. The good news: Much of said business is comic-book related.

I’m developing a History of the American Comic Book class at Everett Community College, which will be offered for the first time this summer. And I recently hit the road again with Superhero America: The Comic-Book Character as Historical Lens, my traveling talk for the Humanities Washington Speakers Bureau.

With so much on my plate for spring, I’ve had little choice but to take a short break from review writing. Look for daily reviews of old four-color favorites to return July 5, 2016.

In the meantime, if you’re in Washington state, come check out one of my upcoming talks:

May 26: Quilcene
June 28: Camas
July 7: Oak Harbor
July 23: Brier
Sept. 27: Arlington
Oct. 6: Kelso
Oct. 20: Moses Lake
Nov. 13: Snohomish
Nov. 19: Friday Harbor

Cheers,
Andrew signature
